Borrow Video Games
- Games circulate for three weeks (21 days).
- Patrons can check out five (5) games per card.
- Bloomingdale Public Library cardholders can place holds on new games through the online catalog, by phone, by text, or in person.
- Non-Bloomingdale cardholders can place holds on new games under the following conditions:
1) The game is on the shelf.
2) They must pick up the game at Bloomingdale Public Library.
3) They must contact Adult Reference Desk staff to pull the game and put it on hold manually. - All patrons can place holds on older games.
- Five (5) renewals (unless the game has holds).

Nintendo Switch 2 Edition Games - Compatible with Original Nintendo Switch Console
The Nintendo Switch 2 Edition of a game is a bundle that includes the original Nintendo Switch game and its upgrade pack. While the game cartridge can be played on an original Nintendo Switch console, some features and content of a Nintendo Switch 2 Edition game can only be played on Nintendo Switch 2. Bloomingdale Public Library owns the following Nintendo Switch 2 Edition games, which should work on both the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2:
