Bloomingdale Chamber of Commerce Scholarships

The Bloomingdale Chamber’s Scholarship Program is designed to connect with and support our youth as they become business leaders of the future. The Bloomingdale Chamber Scholarship Program provides an excellent opportunity to give back to the community and to reward motivated students for their exemplary work and determination.
As a result of the generosity of its members and the community at large, and through the commitment of time, resources, and monetary donations, the Bloomingdale Chamber of Commerce is able to offer two types of scholarships:
1. Bloomingdale Chamber Student Scholarships – Students graduating high school or currently enrolled in post-secondary school who are planning to continue their education on a full-time basis at an accredited post-secondary college, university, or vocational school in the United States are eligible to apply. Multiple scholarships ranging from $500 to $1,000 are available as one-time awards.
2. Bloomingdale Chamber Alumni Scholarships - Individuals enrolled full-time in a community college, four-year university, vocational school, or graduate program who have previously won a Bloomingdale Chamber Scholarship are eligible to apply. Two scholarships valued up to $1,500 are available for this one-time award.
Bloomingdale Artists Association (BAA) Visual Fine Arts Scholarship

The Bloomingdale Artists Association (BAA) is pleased to offer one $1,000 scholarship to a qualified applicant pursuing a Visual Fine Arts Degree. The scholarship is co-funded by the BAA and Masterpiece Framing of Bloomingdale. Residents of DuPage County and the surrounding area are encouraged to apply.
The applicant must be a senior in high school or 18 years or older. The scholarship award will be applied to 2018 college/art school tuition; the award recipient must participate in the 2018 BAA Member Exhibit.

Joe Draghi Septemberfest Scholarship
Deadline: April 15, 2018
The Joe Draghi Septemberfest Scholarship is once again being offered by the Septemberfest Commission. The award is funded through private, community, and corporate contributions. Applicants must be a resident of Bloomingdale between the ages of 17 and 20. Other requirements are noted on the application. The application packet will be available on the Village of Bloomingdale’s website by March 6 and is due April 15, 2018. Winners will be announced at Septemberfest on September 8, 2018.
Lake Park High School Educational Foundation Scholarships
Deadline: March 8, 2018 (for most Foundation scholarships)
The Lake Park High School Educational Foundation is pleased to announce 30 scholarships totaling over $23,000 that are available for seniors. Scholarship applications are due to the Career Center at Lake Park West Campus by Thursday, March 8, 2018. (Note: The deadline for the Scott Bradley Memorial Scholarship is Thursday, February 1). Glenbard North High School Local Scholarships

Bloomingdale School District 13 Parent Teacher Organization Scholarship
Deadline: April 9, 2018
College-bound high school seniors who have attendend District 13 schools are invited to apply for scholarships available through the district. The Parent-Teacher-Organizations from Bloomingdale District 13 Schools Erickson and DuJardin Elementary and Westfield Middle School will each be offering a $750.00 scholarship. Past students of both DuJardin and Erickson may apply to only the school most recently attended. Students who attended one of the elementary schools and Westfield Middle School may apply to the elementary school, as well as to Westfield.
Applications are available at the guidance counselors' offices at Lake Park and District 13 schools and online. For more information, contact the District 13 office at 630-893-9590.
Applications must be submitted by Monday, April 9, 2018. Winners will be selected by a committee evaluating the students' applications, grade point averages, introductory letters, and letters of recommendation. Winners will be notified in early May.
