The Bloomingdale Park District has long been a driving force in fostering community engagement through the arts.
For more than 30 years, its partnership with the Bloomingdale Artists Association (BAA) has provided meaningful opportunities for artistic expression, cultural enrichment, and community connection.From annual exhibits at the Bloomingdale Park District Museum to bi-monthly workshops and demonstrations - such as Neurographic Art, Clay Pot Painting, and Needle Felting - residents engage in diverse art forms that inspire creativity and learning. Initiatives such as the annual silent auction of BAA members’ artwork directly support scholarships for students pursuing art education, demonstrating the District’s comment to fostering
future generations of artists. This culture of giving strengthens community ties and ensures sustainability of the arts.

Artwork is located in the Main Stairwell Take 5 Zone, and Display Case.

Purchasing
Some art is for sale! Interested parties can stop by the Business Office.

Artists interested in displaying their work at the Bloomingdale Public Library can download a copy of the exhibition policies and necessary space request forms here.

Completed forms can be sent by email to bdbo@mybpl.org or turned in to the business office during regular business hours.
