Celebrate Free Comic Book Day at the library! Create super crafts and pick up some free comics (3 per person, while supplies last)! Thank you to Keith's Komix (528 S. Roselle Road, Schaumburg, IL 60193) for the support!

Summer Concert Series
June 14, 2024 (12-1 pm): Strung Out



Strung Out is Chicago’s ultimate 70’s musical experience.

They’ve dug through the incredible treasure trove of classic 70’s music that other bands overlook and found the greatest songs that are as diverse as the decade itself! Rock, soul, funk and fantastic one-hit wonders that are instantly recognizable have made them a favorite for audiences of all ages.


Summer Concerts are held in front of the library in the Dominic Froio Memorial Garden (with limited shade). Folding chairs will be provided, but for maximum comfort you are welcome to bring your own chair and/or hand-held shade umbrella. Popcorn, water, and ice cream will be available for purchase from the Friends of the Library. Fun concert giveaways available, while quantities last.

Summer Concerts are held rain or shine - concerts will move indoors for inclement weather.
Concerts are co-sponsored by the Village of Bloomingdale.

Summer Concert Series
July 12, 2024 (12-1 pm): The Beatelles



Meet The Beatelles! Experience the timeless music of The Beatles performed with harmonious perfection by four powerhouse female vocalists. Backed by musicians with years of Beatle tribute experience, this female fronted, multimedia production, brings a fresh and entertaining twist to a familiar and endearing songbook that spans from 'Love Me Do' to 'Let It Be'.

Ice Cream Social
Thursday, August 1, 2024 (5:30-8:30 p.m.) Celebrate the end of summer reading with ice cream novelty treats!


Summer Concert Series
August 9, 2024 (12-1): Zydeco VooDoo




Zydeco Voodoo plays a fun mix of New Orleans style music and Zydeco, as well as popular rock, blues, and our original tunes in an upbeat style you may hear down on Bourbon street.
The music gets you dancing, singing along and having a good time. We encourage children and adults to come up on stage and participate by dancing or playing our percussion instruments.

Snowman Crossing (Community Decorated Trees)
