Join us for an orientation seminar about how Medicare works (Parts A & B), as well as how Medicare Advantage plans (Part C), Prescription Drug Plans (Part D), and Medicare Supplement plans work. This educational presentation is great for people who are turning 65 soon or those who are over 65.

Life in a Japanese American Internment Camp

After the bombing of Pearl Harbor, all Japanese Americans living on the West Coast were forced from their homes and into relocation camps in remote areas of the country. Among the more than 120,000 Japanese-Americans who were incarcerated, more than two-thirds were American-born, many of whom were children. Presented by historian and librarian Sarah Okner, a descendant of internees, this multimedia presentation explores daily life in an internment camp and the profound effects it had on those living there.
