  Comprehensive source for conducting genealogical and local history research. Included are the digitized images of the U.S. Federal Census from 1790 - 1930, the American Genealogical Biographical Index, and Passenger and Immigration Lists Index.
• Heritage Quest
  Contains the US Federal Census Records from 1790 - 1930. Search contents of books to find information on people and places described in family and local histories. Search article database to find information about people and places.
• Chicago Tribune
  Complete content from 1985-present. Paid advertisements are excluded.
• Chicago Tribune Historical Archive
  Full text and full image from 1849-1985. Includes obituaries, historical photos, and advertisements. Full page and article images included.
• Proquest Historical Newspapers - Extra! Edition
  Contains articles from the Chicago Tribune including "What Happened On" a particular day,"This Day in History", timelines, articles about famous dead people and historical eras.
• Daily Herald
  Complete content from 1995-present. Paid advertisements are excluded.
• World Vital Records
  Collection of genealogy databases that can be searched simultaneously. There are more than 3,000 databases containing more than half a billion online names and records.
