For Preschoolers
Storytimes

Spring Storytimes for preschoolers of all ages run from March 5 through April 20. Open unregistered storytimes are offered as well as registered classes. Registration begins February 6. Click here for more information about Spring Storytimes.
Doodle Bugs (Ages 2-3 and their caregivers)
Monday, February 27
10:00-11:30 a.m.
Registration for residents begins February 6. Registration for non-residents begins February 20.

This is a special art class just for toddlers and parents. Little fingers will experiment with painting, gluing, sticking and creating, while developing fine motor skills.
For Families and Kids of All Ages
Craft Time (Ages 5 and up)
First Thursday of the month, 3:00-8:00 p.m.
Registration is Not Required.

Visit the librarians on the first Thursday of every month for a quick craft lesson. They'll supply the materials to get you started, and you can finish on your own.
Family Game Days (Grades 1-6, Parents welcome too)
Thursdays: March 8 and April 12
4:30 p.m.- 5:30 p.m.
Registration is Not Required

Join us for an all around fun gaming time with board games, video games, and snacks! Come by yourself, bring a friend, or bring your family! See who can get the highest score on Wii Bowling, who can sink the most battleships or who is the champion checker player. Children under 9 must be accompanied by a parent.
Musical Instrument Petting Zoo and Open House (Families)

Instructors from the Bloomingdale School of Music will be on hand to introduce and demonstrate their musical instruments. Everyone will have an opportunity to talk to the musicians and try out a variety of instruments.

Join us for fun-filled storytimes for preschoolers of all ages. Each program runs for six weeks. Spring Storytimes begin the week of March 5 and end the week of April 16. Registration for Bloomingdale Residents begins on Monday, February 6. Open registration begins February 27.
The following storytimes may be attended on a drop-in basis:

Your move! It’s time to duel! Calling all players of collectible games, ages 9 and up! Join us for open play, a Yu-Gi-Oh! tournament, and snacks!
