Quick Crafts (Ages 5 and up)
First Monday and Thursday of the month, 5:30-8:00 p.m.
Registration is Not Required.
Visit the librarians on the first Monday or Thursday of every month for a quick craft lesson. They'll supply the materials to get you started, and you can finish on your own.

Doodle Bugs (Children ages 2-3 and their caregivers)
Tuesday, Sept. 7, 11-11:30 a.m.
Registration is required and begins on August 2 for Bloomingdale Residents. Registration for non-residents will begin on August 31.
This is a special art class just for toddlers and parents. Little fingers will experiment with painting, gluing, sticking, and creating, while developing fine motor skills.
Spelling Bee-Nanza! (Grades1-5)

Grandparents' Day Tea Party (Children birth through Grade 6 + Grandparents)
Sunday, Sept. 12, 2:00 - 3:00 p.m.

Grandparents and Grandkids, it's time for our second annual Grandparents' Day Tea Party! We'll enjoy the storytelling antics of the "Singer of Songs", Teller of Tales," Neil Whitham, as he entertains, as well as "high tea" and a craft.
Delicious Boooks: Who Made This Cake? (Grades 1-5)
Monday, Sept. 13, 4:15-5:00 p.m.

Teens Teach: Crafts! (Ages 5-10)
Tuesday, Sept. 14, 4:00-5:00 p.m.

Our friendly teen volunteers will teach children ages 5-10 how to create a fun craft.
Library Capers: Geronimo Stilton(Grades 1-5)

Join Geronimo Stilton and the whole gang to play games and make a craft based on the popular books.
Monthly Montage: Wax Crayon Watercolor Resist (Grades 2-5)
Wednesday, Sept. 22, 4:15-5:00 p.m.
Registration is required and begins on August 2 for Bloomingdale residents. Non-residents may register beginning on Sept. 15.
Come see what happens to your paper when you use a wax medium and a variety of watercolor washes, paints, and soluble crayons all together.
Read for the Record (Ages 3-5)
Thursday, October 7, 1:30-2:15 p.m.
Registration is required and begins on August 2 for Bloomingdale residents. Non-residents may register beginning on Sept. 30.
Join in the record-breaking fun when we read The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats with children all over the country. Songs, crafts, and games will add to the fun!
Storytimes
Come on down to the library to attend one of our fun filled storytimes for children of all ages. Each program runs for six weeks. Storytimes will begin the week of September 20 and end the week of October 25. Registration begins on Monday, August 2 for Bloomingdale Residents. Registration for non-residents will begin on Monday, September 13.

Your move! It’s time to duel! Calling all players of collectible card games, ages 9 and up! Join us for open play, a tournament, snacks, and a good time! We currently support Yu-Gi-Oh! and Magic: The Gathering, but players of all games are welcome to attend. No registration required.
