Through our role as a community information and activities center, the Library serves as a hub for educating, entertaining, and challenging residents to make learning a life-long habit. As part of our long-range service goals to promote lifelong learning opportunities and focus on information literacy, we offer a wide range of events and programs that appeal to a broad spectrum of the community. From preschool story times to computer literacy classes to programs on current issues that affect the community, we strive to offer relevant, timely programs that stimulate a desire to learn in young children and encourage lifelong learning in adults.
The Bloomingdale Public Library hosts several annual events. Many of the events are co-sponsored by the Village of Bloomingdale and the Friends of the Library. Please contact the Business Office at (630) 924-2720 for more information regarding any of these events.
Attendance at Library programs and events and participating in any Library related activity constitutes consent to be photographed for Bloomingdale Public Library publicity purposes.
