Improve Your Interview Skills - Get the Job!
It's so hard to get an interview these days, job searchers certainly want to make the most favorable impression when they get that coveted interview! On Monday, September 28 at 6:30 p.m., come to the library to learn how to turn your job interview into job search success. Behavioral interview questions, interview techniques, and the importance of body language will be discussed in this presentation by a representative of the Community Career Center in Naperville. Museum Adventure Passes Available @ Your Library
Everyone is looking for fun things to do on a budget these days. If you are looking for an affordable family outing this fall, look no further! The Library now has a limited number of passes available for 17 local museums. You will either get free admission or a special discount depending on the location. The passes check out for one week and must be checked out in person. They are on a first come, first served basis. You must be a Bloomingdale cardholder to check out a pass.

We've recently added a new database to the library's holdings. It's called Mango Languages, and it's a great way to get started learning a new language!

World Language Titles @ Your Library

This collection consists of books in Spanish, Polish, Gujarati, Punjabi, and Hindi. Adult Services Librarians will be happy to show you where we keep this collection. Just ask!
New York Times Bestseller Lists Delivered to Your Inbox
You can now get the New York Times Bestseller lists delivered to your email inbox. Sign up for our newsletter for the New York Times fiction or nonfiction lists and they will be delivered to you on a weekly basis. There will be links to our library catalog, so you will be able to quickly place a hold on the titles that interest you.

Legal Forms @Your Library
Finding just the right legal form for your unique situation can be a difficult undertaking. You can find a large collection of legal forms for business and personal use through our Gale Legal Forms database. Just enter your library card number and PIN (default PIN is changeme) and you will gain access to the collection. You can customize the form by filling in the blanks and editing it to suit your needs. You can then print it and save it. It's very easy and convenient.

Are you always on the lookout for a good book? Get free book suggestions emailed to you free each month. You can sign up for as many topics as you like. For free! In some cases, the booklists arrive with first chapters attached, so you can sample a book before you check it out. Each booklist contains new titles and a themed booklist that contains oldies but goodies as well as new books.
Library Circulates Low Vision Devices
Are you or someone you know struggling with low vision? The Library circulates a number of magnifiers and other low vision devices that may help. Sometimes it is helpful to try a few kinds of magnifying devices. Ask a reference librarian to show you where these devices are located. You can try several types of magnifiers to see which one works for you.

Are you looking for something to keep the kids busy on their day off school for President's Day? Try one of these fun crafts from Kaboose. Who wouldn't want to play with presidential finger puppets or make a powdered wig from cotton balls? There are also other crafts on the site that will provide ideas throughout the year.
